Overview of Company

Diventa Consulting was launched in 2005 to bring strategic planning and business development support to organizations tired of working with large, inflexible firms that delivered engagements but not results.  Diventa comes from the Italian word diventare which means “become” or “begin to be”.  Our clients typically have had success in a key area of business and want to build on that momentum or are facing market challenges that require new ways of thinking or a new approach.  We would love to talk with you about “becoming” your next version of success.

Bio: Elaine Kennedy, Founder and Managing Director

Elaine Kennedy has over 25 years of professional experience in organization development, strategic planning and strategic business development. Ms. Kennedy is known for her ability to help clients tackle tough decisions and make difficult tradeoffs, while strengthening their leadership teams at the same time. She has been an interim President and CMO for several start-ups and has helped numerous other clients successfully define business strategies, enter new markets, and build stronger teams. Ms. Kennedy is a sought-after presenter and facilitator, helping clients with a wide range of topics including strategic planning, leadership development, and managing conflict.

Prior to founding Diventa Consulting, Ms. Kennedy served as Director of Business and Strategy Development at Fannie Mae where she led market analysis and strategy efforts for both the eBusiness and Single-Family divisions. Ms. Kennedy also spent 10 years in the technology and supply chain management industry where she led efforts in strategy, business development, marketing and sales and played a key role in helping companies capitalize on new business opportunities. She has worked with many industry-leading companies such as The Chronicle of Higher Education, ExxonMobil, McDonalds and IBM as well as government entities, non-profits, associations and growing mid-size companies.
